Veterans Cricket

Mitcham fields two Veterans sides, an Over 40s & Over 50s side. Veterans cricket is played on Sundays between 1pm - 6pm on a fortnightly basis.

Veterans competitions are 40-over a side with modified rules, including batsman retiring at 40 and maximum of 7 overs for bowlers.

Veterans cricket at Mitcham Cricket Club was established in the 1997/98 season when our first Over 40’s side took to the field. in the coming seasons an Over 50’s side was established in the 2008/09 season, and an Over 60’s side in the 2021/22 season (no longer available).

Veterans cricket offers the chance to continue to play the game you love, meet old & new friends, have some fun, and be involved at a great local club.

A rich history has followed with 7 premierships having been won, runners up on 12 occasions, and semi finalists on a further 19 times.
