Junior Cricket
Mitcham CC offers opportunities for all age groups to play cricket from Junior Blasters (age 5) to Under 18s. We are also looking for new players to play in our 2 girls teams in the upcoming season.

Under 18’s
Under 16s
In season 2026/2027, will be fielding two U16 teams. Our Friday night team will play in BHRDCA 16-A grade.
Our Saturday team compete in RDCA 16-1.
Under 14s
In season 2026/2027, Mitcham will be fielding four U14 teams, with two of these teams playing on a Friday evening (BHRDCA) 14A, 14B, and two on a Saturday morning (RDCA) 14-1 & 14-5. Two more U14 teams will play RDCA T20.
Under 12s
In season 2026/2027, Mitcham will field two U12 teams, which will play on a Friday evening.
Our teams will compete in RDCA competitions 12-1 & 12-6.
U10s
In season 2026/27 we will field a T20 team in the RDCA compitition.
In season 2026/2027, Mitcham will be fielding three Under 10s teams on a Sunday morning Fast 9 (hard ball) & 2 Super 7 teams (soft ball).
BRAD OAKES – JUNIOR COACHING CO-ORDINATOR
Brad is 21 years old and has already coached junior teams for 5 seasons at under 16 and 14 levels (including an under 14B premiership in 2020/21). He played junior cricket at the club from the Milo program through to under 16’s and is now a senior player. Brad is very passionate about developing young cricketers and enthusiastic to oversee Mitcham’s junior program and assist all our junior coaches and players this coming season in this role.
Girls Cricket
Mitcham will be fielding girls teams in stages 1 &2 in 2026/27, our seventh season of Girls Teams. Girls of all skill levels are welcome, ages 8 to 13. Stage 1 for younger girls or those new to cricket & Stage 2 (played with a real cricket ball) are played on a Wednesday evening in the EGWC. Girls aged 13 onwards comprise players in our first ever Womens team (refer Senior Womens Tab).
